Agang Letsema Rakhudu studied Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences at the University of Botswana. She is an experienced events management and administrative professional with strong business acumen with 9 years’ working and providing consultancy in the private sector mainly in the hospitality and tourism industry. She has a proven track record for successfully formulating company targets and goals and adapting them into initiatives and departmental goals to ensure a desired output.
Throughout her career she has been responsible for every aspect of an event, from choosing venues to evaluating success afterwards, overall coordination and project managing. She is well-organized and competent in vendor management. Communication skills and attention to detail will set apart the best among the candidates. Her goal with every event is to organize unforgettable events that will ensure the entertainment of participants and facilitate the completion of business objectives. Through her role as she has not only proven to be competent with demonstrating exceptional people management skills but she has been able to successfully recruit, develop and retain high performing employees in a diverse workforce to be able to achieve maximum output with minimal input by taking into consideration and aligning to business objectives.
She has had the opportunity to serve as the Administrative Secretary to the Board of a Hospitality Company, An Agriculture and Enterprise. As part of the Board of Directors, she is tasked with overseeing operations of a business unit that has a diverse portfolio in hospitality and events management and . The mandate is to make sure that managers and supervisors are closely trained and coached to achieve the business goal which is to retain a high-performing, diverse workforce using minimal input without compromising on the quality of the output.
